How do I get a trial package?

After registration you shall log in and create a trial package.

For that purpose, you shall:

Click on page https://soax.com/proxy

1) Select your appropriate GEO
2) Select your proxy Type (?)
3) Note the Quantity of Ports (?)
4) You may note the maximum IP rotation period for all ports (and after creation of the package you may do it for each port separately in Quick access tab -> IP:Port
5) Study the limits which are applied for the package
6) Note the package duration period. If you are creating the first package, then a trial period is available which lasts for 1 hour. If you meet difficulties during the testing, then contact our customer support. They will help you and prolong your testing period
7) If an option of automatic prolongation is selected, then your package will be prolonged when it comes to an end in case there are enough money funds on your account at the period of the last prolongation
8) Note IP bindings (?) – i.e. the IP from which you will be using the proxy
9) If you need static IP without rotation, select an option Access by nodes
10) Click Buy Package button

Proxy type. What types are there? What choice to make?

In the system there are two proxy types:
- mobile
- wifi (residential)

Mobile - this type means that if you use such type of proxy for accessing internet, then you will get the IP which belongs to the mobile operator selected, and all websites will see you as a user accessing through a mobile provider by 3g/4g/LTE. Mobile IP are more trusted, and it is a few times less likely to be banned at any system when using Mobile IP than a usual Wifi (residential) one

Wifi (residential) - this type means that when you access internet your IP address will belong to a common residential internet provider. Our residential proxy in practice fit any tasks as they are clear

In both cases you get residential IPv4 addresses, i.e. IP addresses which are given to common internet users, and which are not server-based.

What Ports are?

Obtaining a proxy, you shall note the quantity of Ports.
For example, when obtaining a mobile proxy, you get 10 ports in the package. It means that you will be able to have 10 connections simultaneously to different IP addresses/proxy

As a rule, you may need additional ports in case you have big team and a large number of people who often use proxy. Then it is necessary to have a Port for each person. Speaking from practice you will need 2-3 Streams/ports for one person, so that he/she will be able to work without disturbing others

Another reason that you might need more ports than there’re in a standard package is the case if you need to receive big volume of information in short period of time. For example, if you need to parse a resource of 1000 pages on the internet. To do that within a very short time you will need 1000 ports, to obtain them simultaneously, but not waiting for a port to get free for parsing of another page

A common Mobile package gives access to ports with numbers from 9000 to 9009 (when authorised with login and password)/10000 to 10009 (when authorised with IP). Each port gives a unique output IP

A common Wifi (residential) package gives access to ports number 9000 – 9299/10000 – 10009 (authorisation is corresponding with Mobile one). Each port gives a unique output IP

If you hesitate how many Streams to obtain – it is highly possible that 10 Streams for Mobile and 300 Streams for Wifi (residential) will do for you.

What IP bindings are?

IP bindings mean the computer/server IP address on which you will use Proxy

Attention: if you are going to use Proxy with ip:port access (i.e. without authorisation and a login and password), then you shall make sure that the same IP binding is not noted in two or more active Packages.

What a node access is?

A standard package has IP rotation at each Port. This means that when using one Port, the output IP will change automatically at certain intervals transparently for you

If you need access using static IP - use access through nodes

A lifetime of each node is individual. An IP address of a node does not change during operation. When a node goes offline, you shall either wait for it to get back online, or switch to another node in manual mode. This way you can control the IP address change

When buying a package with access through nodes, you can choose between using IP with rotation and static IP

Access by Nodes:

1) Select the output IP type. Dynamic type – is a standard access with rotation. Static type – is an access through nodes
2) Select your provider/ISP or your region/city for the system to find a suitable node
3) Use a refresh button to search for a new node
4) Use a new password. A given password corresponds to a specific IP address. It will not change during the operation. But it can disconnect – then that port will stop working with this password. Just take a new one or wait until this one starts working again

You can also use API to access nodes

How to use API to access through nodes?

To access nodes, you can use our API
Attention: API works only for packages with enabled access through nodes!

url: https://soax.com/api/get-active-nodes?key={key}&package_key={package_key}&country_iso={country_iso}&conn_type={conn_type}&provider={provider}&region={region}&city={city}&carrier={carrier}&isp={isp}&multilang=true

GET parameters:

key – the key to access API (API KEY) is in your profile https://soax.com/account
package_key – the package login
country_iso – the two-digit ISO country code
carrier – the mobile operator if your package type is mobile
isp – the internet provider if your package type is wifi

region – your region
city – your city
conn_type – your node connection type: mobile or wifi

json-array in a format like [{nodeData1}, {nodeData2}, {nodeData3}]

[{"uniq_id":"uniq_id1","conn_type":"mobile","remote_ip":"remote_ip1","country_iso":"us","region_name":"iowa","city_name":"urbandale","carrier_name":"i wireless"}, ...]
To access the node received, use uniq_id as a password

What an automatic prolongation is?

If you want your package to be prolonged automatically, select an Automatic prolongation package option.
The package will be automatically prolonged for the period noted upon the purchase or the last prolongation and only if there is a sufficient amount of funds on your account.

What a Quick Access -> By IP address is?

This feature allows you to attach specific targeting to a specific Port (i.e., country, city, region and provider/operator). To do this, on the Package page, go to the Quick Access tab -> By IP address, and then:

1) Click on "+ Add Filter" block
2) Note your targeting settings. When you create a new Filter, only the IP addresses from the targeting you specified will be on the port that will be allocated for this filter
3) Note the number of ports that you want to allocate for the filter specified
4) If necessary, specify the IP rotation period on the filter created
5) Save the filter

After saving, the filter created will be displayed:

In this case, only addresses corresponding to the filter will be given on ports 10000-10002:
Country: Russia
Region: moskva
City: Moscow
Carrier: mts pjsc
With rotation every 360 seconds
