Asia PoP Update

We set up a new point of presence (PoP) in Singapore to bring our proxy infrastructure closer to where your requests are going.

This means your requests to Asian websites now travel a much shorter path, cutting out the latency that was slowing things down.

What this means for your scraping speed

Average TTFB (time to first byte, or how long it takes to get the first piece of data back from a server) has dropped from 1.6 seconds to between 0.3 and 0.5 seconds. That's roughly a 70% improvement.
