Frequently asked questions
Companies use Bahamian IPs to see websites, search results, ads and prices the way people in the Bahamas see them. Those pages come in English, and prices show in Bahamian Dollar (BSD). In September 2026, Google held 86% of search in the Bahamas and bing held 12%, according to StatCounter. Rank tracking in the Bahamas should cover bing as well as Google. Common uses for Bahamian IPs include SEO monitoring, price monitoring and ad verification.
Nassau and Freeport hold 97% of our Bahamian IPs together, with Nassau at 95% and Freeport at 3%. We also have IPs in Alice Town and Behring Point. You can target a specific city in the Bahamas, along with country, region, ISP or mobile carrier, and ASN.
Bahamas Telecommunications Corporation, Alivfibr and Cable Bahamas carry 81% of our Bahamian IPs together, at 35%, 32% and 15%. Bahamas Telecommunications Corporation and Cable Bahamas each run both a mobile network and fixed broadband.
The Data Protection (Privacy of Personal Information) Act applies in the Bahamas, and the Data Protection Commissioner enforces it. DLA Piper's data protection overview for the Bahamas covers the details. This is general information, not legal advice. Check with a lawyer for your use case.
We offer mobile proxies in the Bahamas as part of Proxy Mesh, alongside residential proxies. They route traffic through real mobile carrier connections on 3G, 4G and 5G networks. Bahamas Telecommunications Corporation and Cable Bahamas run mobile networks in our Bahamian data. Mobile costs the same as residential in the Bahamas, with the same credits and no price difference.
Without a session, every request to a Bahamian IP gets a new IP. When you add a session ID, your requests reuse the same node and IP while the session is active, and the session ends after 60 seconds without requests. The IP can still change if its node becomes unavailable.
People whose devices carry traffic take part voluntarily and with informed consent, and they can stop at any time. That covers our Bahamian IPs too.
We don't give away free Bahamian proxies. Public free proxy lists are run by unknown operators, so you cannot see who handles your traffic or how the IPs were sourced. You can create an account for free. Sandbox has no subscription fee and includes no credits, so it only sends traffic after you buy top-up credits. Plans are on our pricing page.
