Frequently asked questions

Companies use Mauritian IPs to see websites, search results, ads and prices the way people in Mauritius see them. Content there shows up in French and English, and prices display in Mauritian Rupee (MUR). Common uses for Mauritian IPs include SEO monitoring, price monitoring and ad verification.

The largest cities for our Mauritian IPs are Port Louis, Vacoas and Beau Bassin-Rose Hill, which hold 65% of them together. We also have IPs in Centre de Flacq and Rose Hill. You can target a specific city, along with country, region, ISP or mobile carrier, and ASN.

Mauritius Telecom and Emtel carry 99% of our Mauritian IPs together. Mauritius Telecom runs both a mobile network and fixed broadband, and Emtel is a mobile carrier.

Without a session, every request to a Mauritian IP gets a new IP. Add a session ID and your requests keep the same IP while the session is active, and it ends after 60 seconds without requests. The IP can still change if its node becomes unavailable.

In Mauritius you can target by country, region, city, ISP or mobile carrier, and ASN. Port Louis is one example of a city you can target. The more specific the targeting, the fewer IPs match it. Location and ASN are classified signals, not guarantees.

Mobile proxies cost the same as residential in Mauritius. Residential and mobile traffic use the same credits, so there's no price difference between them. Our pricing is public and the same for every customer at every tier. You'll find it on our pricing page.

We don't give away free Mauritian proxies. Public free proxy lists are run by unknown operators, so you can't see who handles your traffic or how the IPs were sourced.
