Frequently asked questions
What is Incogniton?
Incogniton is an anti-detect browser that helps you manage multiple accounts and digital profiles.
It allows users to create and manage different browser profiles, each with a unique digital fingerprint, from a single application. This feature is particularly useful for social media advertising, digital marketing, and e-commerce.
Why do you need an anti-detect browser?
Using an anti-detect browser is useful for anyone whose job involves managing multiple online accounts, as it significantly reduces the risk of these accounts being blocked or banned.
Traditional browsers can leave unique digital fingerprints, making it easy for websites to track and link multiple accounts to the same user, leading to possible restrictions or bans.
An anti-detect browser prevents this by allowing each account to operate under a distinct digital fingerprint.
These browsers also improve online security by protecting your privacy and personal data from trackers.
Can you control Incogniton with code?
The short answer is: yes, Incogniton can be controlled programmatically.
It provides a REST API for direct integration with various applications. Additionally, for those familiar with browser automation, Incogniton supports Selenium.
However, at the moment, Selenium integration is only supported with Python. Selenium is particularly useful for developers and testers who require automated, repetitive tasks across multiple browser profiles, enhancing efficiency and productivity in their workflows.
Why use SOAX with Incognition?
There are a couple of reasons why SOAX proxies are ideal for Incognition:
You can access proxies in a wide range of locations (195 countries)
Choose between different protocols, such as HTTP(S) or SOCKS5
99.95% uptime for stability
Sticky sessions
And more. Check out the proxy page for more information
What types of proxies does SOAX offer?
SOAX offers different kinds of proxy types:
Residential proxies. These proxies assign you an IP that is associated with an actual device in a home. Great if you want to access geo-blocked content.
Mobile proxies. These proxies use IP addresses assigned to mobile devices by their mobile network operators. Great for anonymity.
ISP proxies. ISP proxies are a blend between residential and datacenter proxies. They are hosted in data centers but are registered with real ISPs, combining the speed of datacenter proxies with the legitimacy of residential proxies. Note that we only have ISP proxies in the US, and excluding the state of Texas.
Datacenter proxies. These proxies are provided by servers housed in data centers, using IP addresses that belong to the datacenter's subnet. Great for situations where speed is of the essence.
